I want Corn Nuts
You are both corny and nuts ;e
My mother would make some from scratch using dried field corn. It was pretty good. Dried corn. Little oil in bottom of the big'o black fry pan. Cook till they pop. Drain on paper towel. Salt to taste.
I like the original flavor but the taco/nacho and ranch flavors were pretty good.
HELLO Dentist! Broke off a perfectly good crown, level with the gum line, eatin' Corn Nuts a few years ago. Have'nt had one since then..........but I"d love to!
at a farmers market they were fried and salted.
Somehow the are easier on the teeth than regular corn nuts.
at one of the local alternative/health-food markets. I think it's billed as 'Inca Corn', or something like that. They're the size of grapes, or even larger. Less hard-on-the-teeth crunch with great flavor. However, I don't think they have the variety of spice blends that the name-brand does.
You want corn nuts?
Why is it that no one is happy with what God gave them anymore?
Corn Nuts = ;0
I'm not fond of talking to someone after they've just eaten them!
~rf `l ;i
I chipped a front tooth on a corn nut once and had to get get a veneer (sp?) I will not eat them anymore
+10. I think it was a dentist that invented Corn Nuts....
I think I had that once when I was a kid, but the doctor was able to cure it.
I highly recommend wasabi peas as an alternative.
Yum, just had some!
They'll clear out your sinuses, that's for sure!
My yungun calls'em sabi peas--bout the only way I can stand to eat peas, and I sure do like'em^7 ^7
Never heard of these things. Where can they be found?
My local Publix has them in and around the "produce" section near their other dried nuts, fruits sections. Otherwise, any Japanese or Oriental grocery or import food aisle in a major grocery store should have them.
Corn nuts is one of the few snack foods the PXs here rarely run out of.
More for me.
