I went to my LGS and planned to put an H&K p30sk on layaway. I handled the H&K and liked it but the trigger was very heavy compared to the glocks I'm used to, and it weighed a bit. I decided to just look at the g26....well next thing I know I have a fde g26 on layaway :p It was $100 cheaper, and I've wanted a FDE glock for a while now. No cure for glockitis I guess

I would have gone with the HK.

It is more expensive, but I think you get better quality for the dollar one these more competitively priced HK pistols.

I was close, it felt great in the hand. It was 637 for a v3. Weight was the issue, it would be a chunk in a kydex holster

That's cool. Whatever works for you, of course

There's certainly nothing wrong with a G26. Congrats!

It was certainly a great pistol, and one day I may still buy it. It's a nice set up

Buy what feels best to you and not what people say you should buy.

Congrats! You won't be any happier with an HK, just my opinion. I'd like to have one of each different Glocks made.

The 26 is nice but I would have gone HK. I'm eyeballing that P30SK (V1) myself. In the end though, it's your decision and you need to be happy with it. The 26 is an excellent choice too.

I had an HK once and got rid of it, I could never get used to how heavy the double action trigger pull was.

Congrats, Koba! Can't go wrong w/ Glock 26. It chose you, so you brought it home. It happens with small animals at the pet store that way too. You really didn't have a choice.

Yea, I got Glockitis, too. Never thought I would, but I do. I have a beautiful HK USP Elite that just sits in my safe. I'll prolly never put the 42nd round through it.

I tried to diversify too, it is nice to try different guns, but didn't worked for me, at the end sold all the others and kept only my glocks, because they are simple, reliable, and there are plenty of aftermarket parts for them.

I would have chosen the fde G26 also. Given that choice.

Or a number of other Glock models.

I have a 19, was looking for a smaller carry 9 mm. The 26 was the only glock I was really interested in, despite them showing me the 43. I hate to say it, but the FDE had some effect on it.

I love my FDE Glock 19 and carry it 90% of the time.
