    This was the total package. I have plans for the battery grip, and some higher end glass. I have about 5 EF lenses from my film rebel also.

    The Nikon and Canon SLRs are great cameras. Cannot go wrong with either (except the banding issue with the Nikon D200).

    Mine is one of the first 1500 in the country. They are up to ~50000 now and the problem appears all but gone. Seems like you only hear the bad on the internet and it makes it sound like something is a widespread problem.
    I don't see any banding. :)

    The 20D is a great camera also. Just depends on which glass you have/want.
