I took the plunge. (bought a EOS 20D)

This was the total package. I have plans for the battery grip, and some higher end glass. I have about 5 EF lenses from my film rebel also.

Mine is one of the first 1500 in the country. They are up to ~50000 now and the problem appears all but gone. Seems like you only hear the bad on the internet and it makes it sound like something is a widespread problem.
I don't see any banding.



The 20D is a great camera also. Just depends on which glass you have/want.
