An area guy had this Masada on armslist. I got it for $425!
Nice , I don't shoot mine much, I prefer my Vp9 very similar ergos
I’ve had a low-key interest in this gun for some reason. I’d be interested in what you think about it, especially after you get some trigger time on it.
They feel great in hand
Congrats, if you're happy that's all that matters
Nice pick up, would like to hear feedback after a couple hundred rounds fired!
Good price. I bought mine at a gun shop for $450. Pre-panic buy, of course. So, if you can get that gun right now at that price, that's a damn good buy.
PS If you were to check for the gun's reliability with a variety of hollowpoints and then decide to mount a red dot to it, make sure to try the gun again with the same loads to make sure it still cycles even with the extra mass now attached to the gun.
I've found that my Masada worked fine with lighter bullets like 90-grains JHPs from Super-Vel, but started to malfunction with the same load after I mounted the red dot. After the red dot was mounted, it worked fine with 115-grains, 124-grains, 147-grains, even 158-grains but that lighter bullet definitely gave it conniptions.
That's just an example of one gun. YMMV.
I don’t quite understand fixed sight guns getting mass produced and leaving the factory that don’t shoot POA or even close.
Always baffles me
I shot my Masada today at indoor range and it's dead on at 10 yards.
Great deal. I wish more CZ75 clones had ambi safeties for us leftys.
