Anybody watching Tucker Carlson interview with Pierce Morgan tonight the CNN Pierce Morgan
Had no idea what happened to him the past couple of years.
But the two were actually having an honest intellectual discussion about the tribalism in the Democrat and Republican party.
And Pierce Morgan actually said
That Biden needs to be held to the same standard as Trump and the media needs to do it's due diligence and report on all of this alleged corruption against him. And the media hold biden into the same standard as they been investigating Donald Trump for the past four years.
Yup, I saw it too. You’re not crazy, Morgan was sane. Said he’s known Trump for a long time, and is being hosed by the media.
Media is not balanced, and Biden gets a total free pass while President Trump is grilled incessantly and a microscope is used to find any flaw, while the media blindfold is required to even talk to Biden.
I’m not going with the (excellent) rattlesnake analogy, I will say it’s more of the broken watch theory, and Morgan has just entered that area, actually being on time and accurate (10/20/20, 7:22pm PDT).

In MY experience, based on what I have seen of his interviews, he seems pretty reasonable, with the exception of his stance on gun control of course.

He voted Remain, however, he's a big supporter of getting Brexit done as voted by the public, and is quick to hold British politicians to account on this issue. He absolutely believes that the Left in Britain is stalling on Brexit, and he's a supporter of President Trump.

Again, that is just what I have gathered. Your mileage may vary.

My impression as well.

If he wasn't such an anti-gun idiot, I could actually grow to like the guy a little bit.

This. He has always seemed like a reasonable person to me, and whenever he debates someone he seems pretty fair, and is a big supporter of Freedom Of Speech, which he holds the Left to account for for silencing or trying to cancel Conservatives.

Like you, if it wasn't for his stance on Gun Control, then I would really like the guy. Right now, I simply respect the guy for not only sticking to his principles, but holding other people accountable for theirs, and respecting people's freedom of speech.

For a long time, I really didn't like the guy just on his gun control stance alone, and the fact that Jeremy Clarkson hates him. But then I've come to realize.....Clarkson would hate anyone if you paid him enough, lmao.

I'm not sure he's a Trump supporter, but seems reasonable on him generally, or seems that way. He does seem to dislike the cancel culture lunacy of the left, so that's nice as well.

If only he could stop trying to reach across the pond and steal our guns I could tolerate him.

Piers Morgan is a liberal, not a socialist, so his attitude on this isn't particularly surprising. His interview with Tucker benefited both. Tucker got a liberal that agrees with him and Piers got to plug his book. His book, BTW, is "Wake Up: Why the 'liberal' war on free speech is even more dangerous than COVID-19". Here is an interesting blurb from him:

"The biggest threat to our freedom in the 21st century isn’t coronavirus but hysterically woke liberals trying to kill democracy by suppressing free speech.

"This is my clarion call, as a liberal myself, for them to stop screaming, shaming and cancelling everyone they disagree with, and start being part of the solution to global disharmony and division – not the problem."
