From the Fridge at work

I brought what I thought was my lunch leftovers home and got in my fridge thinking I'd eat the rest of the luscious sandwich and it was fried chicken!!!

I think I owe someone chicken. But then...perhaps they enjoyed my sandwich!!

I almost got stabbed with a plastic fork over a stolen lunch once...the worst part was, I didn't even steal the dude's lunch...and it was my first day at that job. What happened was this guy had his lunch in the microwave and he walked away for a minute. When he came back, it was gone. Somehow he thought I stole it because I was in line after him. Man this guy was pissed. After I explained to him the logic of it though, that if I had stolen his lunch, why the heck would I still be standing in line, he calmed down. I never went back to that lunch room again. After that I always ate my lunch at my desk...cold

I had a summer job at an oilfield company once where the owner would nose thru the fridge and take bites out of peoples lunch.

I had a chicken salad sandwich in the cooler this morning, just letting whoever ate it know that it wasn't chicken, it was dog.

    Hope you enjoyed your sammich.

    Honest to goodness truth.

He was a good guy but a couple of days each week you could clearly see where he'd been nosing thru there and, sure enough, couple of bites gone from your sandwich.

    He was a big fella.

They called him Tugboat. I called him Mr. Tugboat.
