Yesterday I was doing some work out in the garage. I was making a new leather archery bracer. When I was done I tried it on. When I took my watch off, I still wear one, I must of set in on the trunk of the car. Around 5 I took my daughter to her Taekwondo belt test. The watch fell off the car and ended up about a foot from the sidewalk. When I came home I did not run over it, or see it. This morning my estranged wife stopped by to visit our daughter who is home sick today. She walked by it twice without seeing it. I took the garbage out after she left and found it. I think it's something of a miracle that a) I didn't run it over, and b) nobody else saw it and picked it up.

I'd make a gift to the poor box at church if I were you. Your guardian angel was watching out for you.

I left my cell phone on the trunk of my car while I drove to the mall, about 2.5 miles on residential streets, up and down hills and many turns. I found it on the trunk, up against the lip spoiler. I suppose if the car had been cleaner, it might have slid off. I believe it was my Motorola Razr, which I still have and still works.
I keep it in the car for emergencies.

I got it for my 50th birthday. I actually have two. I lost the first one for several months. I liked it a lot so I bought another one. Of course within a month of getting the second the first one showed up. Only difference is that the second one doesn't have the tuning fork.

I happen to have the same watch. Mine is the older model with the tuning fork. Not near the 10 seconds a year accuracy they advertised when they introduced the Precisionist but gains about 5 seconds a month. Works fine for me.

No, you used up all of your luck. Buying a ticket now will only help the next lucky person.

That's all my ticket purchases have ever done. I've never so much as recouped the cost of a ticket.

I've never tried to check either of mine for the accuracy. Never needed to.

Those are nice watches. Does your’s have the tuning fork logo at 12?
Very lucky you found it after so many things happened, sometimes things do work out. :)

First one has the tuning fork. Second one does not. Otherwise they are identical. I got the second one off of Amazon and they had a notice that said past a certain date Bulova watches sold via Amazon would not have the tuning fork on them.

Few years ago ...I was driving on the freeway doing 60 mph. Out of the corner of my eye at the rear mirror, saw something slide down from the back window. I was like "huh" (actually WTF) and did a quick pullover to inspect what slide down...

Good enough, it was my fat wallet that I forgot to put in my pocket after getting some gas like 5 miles away.
