I traded two revolvers that were collecting dust, and sold another to pick up these two 1911's today. Tue baby Springfield 911 isn't a 1911, but kind of goes with them.

I traded a post-lock S&W 586 and Ruger Wrangler for the Colt Gold Cup National Match. I sold a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag for $600, and paid $650 for the Springfield Range Officer Elite.

Congratulations! 1911 is the only pistol that gives me this, warm feeling when I am holding it. Preferably GI configuration.

I've always shot 1911's well, but the Colt Gold Cup National Match and Springfield Range Officer Elite, damn, just damn. Three mags through the Springfield, one flier from each mag, and the three fliers grouped well. This was playing between 7 and 10 yards. With either one I was holding all rounds within the A zone at 25 yards.
