I-Parker Shotguns

    Anybody have any info on I-Parker shotguns? I know they are kind of a knockoff version of Parker and were made in Belgium. Thats about it. Found one at a local gun shop 16 ga side by side damascus barrels and just need some info

    There were a lot of Belgian "trade" shotguns made using names ment to fool the unknowing into buying a shotgun of lesser quality; like buying fake Rolex's. They're mostly easily worn out, poorly made, trash at this point which is @ 100 years old. Ones with nitro proofs are rare, so there's little chance of their being proofed for modern loads. Most of the bad stories you hear about damacus barrels are due to this type of gun.

    Would it just say nitro proof ? or have a mark? and what does it look like thanks
