But, it was a decent size - just over 5 lbs. Fished at Lake Fork with a guide a couple of weeks ago. My fishing partner caught one that went just under 6 lbs.

    Looks like a keeper!

Dang, what do you use for bait, poodles? ;f
Oh, wait, I can see the lure now; just poodle intestines, apparently.

Good lookin fish. Just one and it's a 5lb plus punds is great. Down here I only catch 1-3lbs.

I was just in Texas over the 4th and was suppose to go fishing with my dad on the Guadalupe river but the rain held us back.

Actually, Lake Fork has a slot limit. Any largemouth bass between 16 and 24 inches has to be released. I heard a story about a guy who caught a 12.6 lb bass and it was only 23 1/2 inches long so he got fined by the Game Warden!!!

You know, poodles; tiny, yappy, useless dogs. ;)

Just joking. With the mouth that thing has, you could use tennis balls!

The state record for Texas came from Lake Fork. I think the State record is over 18 lbs. Which is over 3 times the weight of my fish. LOL
