Another thread was brought up semi recently by Mr. NYC Drew about introducing your kids to old school great cartoons. This was by far my favorite, and still love it to this day.

Merrie Melodies, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, etc. They do not make them the way they use to :faint:

I feel old. :) There was a kit you could order with crayons and a thin screen to stick (as in static stick) over the tv screen to draw on to make whatever Tom needed. Boys and girls, Tom needs a hand, can you draw Tom a hand? What do I know, I can't remember back that far. :dunno:

I remember in the 80s & early 90s Bugs Bunny came on last of all the cartoons on Saturday. It was 90 minutes for awhile, then dropped down to an hour, then 30 minutes, then off the air.

It is a great show, and I'd gladly watch the same ones over and over and over again some more.

Just got through watching a few "oldies" w/ my daughter(5) on youtube..... Speedy Gonzales, Foghorn Leghorn, and Bugs Bunny. She loved them.

Bugs Bunny rocks. My favorite episode was the Quest for the Singing Sword, along with the other Knights, Sir Loin of Beef and Sir Ohsis of Liver. Like that was written for kids.

Tom & Jerry (and the side cartoons) is probably my favorite cartoon made before I was born, with Looney Tunes a close second. I really miss the ones where they did "Products of tomorrow" ...

I know you guys know what Im talking about!

Anyway, I just came back to say that SpongeBob is one of these. It will last forever, just watch.
