I saw a new S550 on 20's, did look pretty hot. I'd love to see the interior at night, lots of trick illumination inside.

My neighbour works for MB and he has a 2 tone one.
It's body is the same as the car in your pic but it's roof and pillars are graphite metallic.
    It looks AMAZING!

If you think it looks good, try riding in one. Neighbor has one and materials are really top notch. I just sat there opening and closing the door to hear that thud. I still don't know if I'd like the I-Drive type input they have, but I think I could get used to it if somebody gave me one.

I like that new E55, close to 500 HP AMG engine.

Its a fast beautiful car and lots of bang for the buck.

For the same money as an S550 I take the new E55 AMG

The supercharged E55 is hardly new, and can be had for less money than the S550, even when new.

There is a new E55 for 2007 and it is the same price as the S550.

    Check your facts out.

Actually, the '07 AMG E is an E63, and is no longer force fed. I don't even think prices has been announced, but a fully optioned '06 E55 is about $15k less than a fully optioned '07 S550.

I am a porsche man owning two 911 (new) but the P Dealer is also a Merc dealer and my sales person is trying to get me to get the new E55 when it comes out and it will be in the mid 90s which is the same price as the S550 non AMG.

I dont know much about Mercedes but am a versed in Porsche's.

As a 4 door sedan I am really pondering between a BMW M5 and the new E 55 (whatever nu they will associate with it).

Thanks for the info Method!! Now, really help a P guy out and tell me which car would most suit someone,, the M5 or E63.... I am hot to trot on a new high power 4 door, like asap.

Well, the M5 is supposed to get a proper row-it-yourself manual tranny in the near future, that would seal the deal for me over any Benz. Nice 911's, my favorite car overall.

Thanks Method. I d have to get used to paddle shifters tho.

I have been into 911 since 1990 when I was able to buy my first one.

As a sports car in my opinion they are tops.

Now,,, what gun should I carry?

In the P Car for some reason and its not James Bond,, I carry my Walther PPK/S (new by S&W) but there is no fire power there.

    Thinking on a G30?

    Or a 9 mm.

I can afford to get anything so I dont want to shop based on dollars. Maybe Kimber? Maybe a carry 45 acp.

Thats why I am reading this board, to get some idea on what is a good CCW gun with stopping power.

    Any clues?

    Dude,

You own two 911 convertibles and you're consider some sort of cheap Austrian plastic phantastic to go with your car?:freak:

If you can afford pretty much anything you want then get yourself a Korth .357 Mag revolver, or a nice vintage HK P9S .45ACP. Teutonic guns for Teutonic vehicles.

No revolvers for me and I want something 100% reliable. My cops buds all tell me to get a glock or sig or Walther 99.

I dont want vintage when it comes to my life.

Thanks for the suggestion the same.

I think you misunderstand. The M5 and M6 are going to be available with a clutch-and-stick-shift manual in the future. With guns, 'vintage' is often not a bad thing.

I take it that your cop buds don't know much about the HK P9S?

But it's your money so buy whatever gun you think is right for you.

BTW, the Glock has been around for 23 years now and the SIG that you're considering is nearly 40;) Just to put things in perspective about "vintage" and all.

That's Monica Belluci the famous model and actress in Italy and Europe. And yes, because of her I now own two Italian motorcycles.

    wow, she is hot!!

I had bikes when I was in my 20s but stuck to Japanese , the 750 Honda and that great 750 Kawasaki 2 cycle and in its day that was a fast bike.

I still like the Triumph which I see has been revived.

I am going to a gun show on July 15th in Fl and want to buy a few new guns but havent a clue. H&K is a great gun but my cop friends dont make the dinero to afford one. I dont know much abt the different H&K models but will get educated at the show.

I like the Kimber 45 acp's. (my state cop friend never heard of a Kimber when I asked him this past weekend and he's been on the force 33 yrs).

I have 3 new pistols now and want to buy two at each gun show until I have about 30 of them just to collect. I am also sold on a Mossy 590 just for the house. Nothing beats a 12 gauge for defense.

    Thanks for your emails.

I d love to get a bike but they can be so dangerous,, look at that Pitts Quarterback, ,poor guy. He was lucky.
