...after playing with and trying to fall in love with a 10mm 20SF for almost 2 months. The latter turned out to have way too much apparent recoil in full-power PD loads, and that is due at least partially to the greater muzzle rise because the pistol is too big for my hands. (The 'straw' was the 20SF's throwing off the Glock taclite/laser sight just by firing the pistol, twice in one sighting session. The still-lit laser sight was tossed over my head and right shoulder. ) I still believe the Big10 is the most-effective and powerful cartridge available in hi-capacity pistols, but it's NOT for me. That smaller-grip Gen4 frame feels MUCH better than even a 31Gen3 does, the full-power PD loads shoot almost softly compared with the Big10, I'm much more accurate with it than with the 20SF, and the Barnes all-copper bullets perform excellently. How could anything be better? Blowing up waterjugs has never been so much fun!
