It's been a couple months since I washed my pickup, every time I wanted to wash it there would be rain or snow in the forecast so I wouldn't wash it. Well they are forecasting rain for tonight, but I thought dammit I have to get all that salt and grime off my pickup, and I could hardly see out my windows anymore. She's sparkling clean again and looks like a new one now:supergrin::wavey:

So did you do it yourself or did you go to car wash? I have left my pickuptruck go for about a year now and it really needs a good wash and wax. Everytime I think about doing it something else comes up. It will take me at least a half day now to do it right.

I had it done, there is a place here in Muskogee, where they wash it, vacuum and clean the inside for 20 bucks:supergrin:

FYI Okie, most dealerships will wash your car for free. I stop by my local Toyota dealership every Friday after work for my free wash, my Sequoia is black and the salt they liberally apply here during winter really makes it a sight

We can't have our mayor driving around in a dirty truck. It wouldn't be good for his image........or ours!!!

be careful though. around here they've been known to hire people at minimum wage who could care less about the finish of your paint. it's not a big deal to some people, but others are a little more particular.

when i got mine back from the body shop (at the dealer) i actually told them NOT to wash it before they gave it back to me. i cringed at the thought of them "washing" my truck with it covered in dust and dirt.

i need to wash all of mine. 2 haven't been washed in about a month, it's been to freakin cold, and my old beater i took out in the mud and the rain has washed all the mud off. now instead of being that cool "i've been playing in the mud" look it has that "i haven't been washed in 2 years" look. i've either gotta get some soap after it or take it back out in the mud for a new coat of mud
