No, I’ve just never been able to logically justify buying one. I still can’t, but screw it. Me wantie.

I shot one a few years ago. A few different types of rounds from soft to powerful. Seemed a nice gun, worked well. A little large for carry, but overall not too much different than .44 magnum in concept.

By that, I mean get a large enough frame, put a powerful round in it, and the whole thing works really well. Lots of downrange power, and you can shoot it without getting hurt or blowing up the gun.

Where it gets interesting, is when trying to downsize that whole process into a lightweight snubby. I won't likely buy one, but some of those short barreled Ruger .454 Casull look like the kind of revolver that will really take you for a ride :)

She sounds like a keeper, to me.

May you have many, many more years together!

A thousand dollars for a revolver is too rich for my blood as well.

But apparently y’all don’t venture over to General Firearms very often, where $1000 would only make a nice starter revolver for Bac, perhaps a truck gun or beater gun for knocking around in the woods.:animlol:

They really aren't bad at all.

    Pretty fun to shoot.

I shot five rounds double action through one last year. I've no idea what the load was but I do know I'll never shoot one again. The area in my palm around the base of the thumb was sore for several days. If I need that much killing power I'll shoulder my 45-70.

Not for me but that is one cool big revolver.
