For those of you who remember, I had an ND a while ago. I shot myself in the hand, on the floor at work:wow:. Now I take 100% responsibility without question, however it was an odd situation where a third party was involved.

At any rate, this morning at work I was using my EDC knife (Benchmade Auto Stryker) I set it down on top of scrap plastic bin with a few other tools while I was working on a particular machine. This same person, came over to the area & removed some of the stuff on top of the bin that I was using to work with and proceeded to roll the bin onto a recycling truck....

WTF, a $250 dollar knife that my brother gave me, and that I’ve had on my person every day for the last 4 years just gone......Please take note, I live in NY. Just to get someone to ship one of these here is next to impossible, not to mention the $250. But again is it my fault for leaving it on top of the bin and walking away to get parts...

Sorry to vent, but man do I miss my knife

    Regards

Yes I called the recycling company, its gone for good

The term "nemesis" refers to a rival that is your intellectual equal (or better). The reason Sherlock Holmes had such trouble ever defeating his nemesis Professor Moriarty is because Moriarty was just as smart as Holmes, if not more so. So, that known, do you really want to give this guy the title of nemesis?

Maybe the guy that rolled it away took the knife?

Ouch! It pisses me off enough every time I loose a $80 knife. And as much as I'd like to have several knives out there that run in the $200+ range, that is why I won't buy one. That sucks.

Point taken, mabye not so much.

I am not the kind of person to be rude or say anything to this person, however I do not want him ANYWHERE near me, at any point ever again.

I can accept the ND as being careless with a weaopn, and have already stated that I take full responsibility for that situation. The benchmade on the other hand, I place into the class of a tool.

It has healed quite nicely, I did try at one point, but got frustrated with the whole photobucket thing. I can look into it again.

??? You can upload the picture directly to this site.... that's what I've done several times. I was half-kidding... but it would be cool to see.
