I just payed off my credit card bill today and I have some extra cash laying around. I was sitting here thinking about summer and I figured I wouldn't be able to carry my Glock 23 with me all the time. I have a NAA .22mag that I carry with me sometimes but I want something bigger than that. I want to get something in 9mm because I don't have one yet but I'm open to different calibers. I don't want a g26 because it's too wide and I need something thin(single stack magazine). Money isn't too much of an issue but don't suggest nothing ridiculous like the Rohrbaugh. Even though I would love to have one.

What small 9mm(or different caliber) should I get for summer concealed carry?

For a pocket pistol, look at the Keltec PF9 or P11.

    Check out Kel-Tec and Kahr.
If you like snubbies then check out the Ruger LCR.

My buddy has a P11 and I'm not too crazy about it. It has a really long trigger pull. It is a good size though.

I really like my Kahr PM 9. I carry it in cargo shorts and pants with no problem. With a pocket holster.

If your talking 9mm, pocket pistol and reasonable price Kel Tec PF9 or the new Taurus slim is about it for semi-auto. I'd love a hard chrome PF9 but I'd like to see if one actually fits in my pocket first. Every time I walk in a gun store I get "sorry man, sold the last one about an hour ago". Day late, dollar....

No I think I'll pass on that one. I might get the Kahr or the Ruger LCP.

PM9 all the way. I love mine. It carries great in a smart carry or in my crossbreed minituck. It's been super reliable, and I got it for a shade over $600 brand new.
Edit: and congrats on payin' off the debt. Both my cards will be completely paid off in a week :D

Forget about the KelTec junk. Look at a Smith 442 or 642. Carry my 442 all day and sometimes forget its there.

Walther PPS. I have loved mine from the day I got it. The only complaint I had was that aftermarket parts are pretty much impossible to find. That is getting better now though. I just got a steel guide rod, and XS will be releasing big dot sights for it in about a month. Once I get those installed, this will be the perfect carry gun.

I think I'm buying the Ruger LCP tomorrow and saving for something else even though I really want the Kahr. I want a 9mm bad but I think my first 9 will be a Beretta 92fs.
