As I was about to buy a Blue-Label Glock 17 Gen 4, a Blue Label Glock 34 caught my eye- he just got 4 of them in. The choice was easy; I went with the 34, as I had no long-slides up until now. He cracked the seal on the brand new G34, and the smell of anti-seize, and oil wafted up to my senses. I was in heaven.

I went ahead and got some Trijicon 3-Dot Tritiums put on while they did my NICS call-in. I LOVE how well this thing balances! My Glock 34 has a test-fire date of 1/27/2010......only two days old! DAMN! BTW, it doesn't say "Made In Austria" on the frame.......just says GLOCK, INC Smyrna, GA on the frame. What's with that? My only complaint with the gun is that the MIL/LE versions come with the 5.5LB connector, as opposed to the 3LB.....oh well.....I still love this gun!

Anyway, obligatory pics; sorry that they're so crappy- Its cloudy and dreary and cold here today, and I don't have any sunlight to capture the brilliance that is the Glock 34. = )

I'll also add that I got it for $499, plus $99 installed, for the Trijicon 3-Dot Tritiums. $640 out the door. Not too bad, IMHO. I love the discount Glock gives MIL/LE/GOV. Its great!

BTW, this one has the Pig Nose. LOL! I love it! The Gen 4 G17 I was about to buy didn't have the Pig Nose. = (

I bought a 3 pin frame G34 last summer that was made in GA, marked just like yours and it had the front of the frame curled up to keep trash out of the gun. Some frames don't seem to have that "feature". NICE

I think they overcharged you. IIRC the blue label price on a 34 is $480.

Try this link:http://www.ombguns.com/. I believe for LE, Glocks are $398.20 for stock guns. Come with 3 mags.

34 is more than 398 because it is a long slide model. My understanding is that blue label pricing is set by Glock, and dealers found to be ripping off customers would be booted out of the program.

    Nice pistol btw!

Great choice in Glocks, I will be getting one very soon.

The list price for a stock blue label G34 with 3 mags is

    $480.70 w/fixed sights
    502.70 w/Adj sights
    537.90 w/Glock night sights
    559.90 w/Trijicon night sights

That's the price I will be getting it for from local LEO supply.
