Thank you for knowing what good beer is and supporting the state of Colorado! (Have you tried 1554 by New Belgium? If not, you should. It's phenomenal!)
I wish we could get Fat Tire in Maryland. I have had a few on my last couple of trips to Colorado. It does give me headaches for some reason though.
We have it here in Northern Indiana. I am surprised you don't have it in MI. Do you have Three Floyds beer up in MI? It is from NW IN so it may be up near you. It is better than Fat Tire. Try the Gumballhead and you will never look at any other beer the same. It is a summer beer because it is so hoppy. There is nothing better than a fresh poured pint of Gumballhead after a 25 mile bike ride in the summer time! I had a lot of days like this last summer and it was really great. Got some sun, exercise and relaxed with a pint or two of the best beer in the world. I feel sorry for anyone who does not have Gumball head on draft near them.
I'm not a big fan of Fat Tire myself. All the hipsters here drink it as a status symbol, and I think it turned me off it. Crappy reason, I know. I will say, though, that I enjoyed the 2 Below from New Belgium. Tasty! As for me, I'm a Boddington's man.
I want some but isn't available in Florida, my buddy loved it in California. Cut him a break he was in the Navy stationed their and he's a G23 owner as well.
Don't get me started on Boddingtons! I may just run to the liquor store to fulfill my craving at the mere mention of it's velvety smooth taste! Damit! Brb, gotta run to the liquor store...
