Pound for pound, I eat more eggs than anything else I can think of. I can eat them breakfast, lunch, dinner, and for snacks. I love 'um. I just had 4 and it made me think of creating this thread. When we go shopping, we take 2 cars...one for groceries and one for eggs, hehehe. Jokes aside, the wife and I usually buy 5 18 packs at a time and they don't last long. Poundage wise, the only thing that comes remotely close is fish. One of these 5 is at every one of my meals but eggs beats them all: 1) eggs 2) fish (mostly salmon and tilapia, bass and blue gill when they are biting) 3) avocados 4) yogurt (mostly Activia) 5) green beans I eat a few other things, but sporadically. I've just lost my taste for a lot of things. The only fruit I can tolerate is a honey crisp apple. Snack foods upset my stomach. Bread and pasta feel like they ferment in my stomach. Good steak is highway robbery. If all I could buy was in the list of 5, I'd be ok for a long time. They are the only things I can stand to eat, and enjoy, every day.
