I haven't even gotten to buyer's remorse...because I can't even comprehend the insane amount of money I spent on a weapon system today.

So far, this feels like it will be the perfect setup for what I wanted in a .308 battle rifle. The 4x scope is enough to get potential out of the .308 but also using the BAC keeps the potential for accurate close in shots.

I need to switch the ACOG mount around, as the current position interferes with charging handle operation, but thats about it.

Thats a darn nice looking rifle there. Have you gotten to shoot it yet?

No, I literally just got it home and mounted the ACOG about 2 hours ago.

I feel a Form 1, a 13" barrel, and an AAC suppressor mount are in my future...

Have they got extra magazines for sale for less than $70 (can you even buy them yet-I know C-Products was making them before they went under)? Shame you can't covert old FAL mags to work reliably. But that is beautiful, what was it --45-4700$?

My only regret would be not getting the FDE model and not getting a Larue mount for the ACOG.
I really don't like FDE. I have numerous "black rifles" and they are all...black. I know FDE/OD do a good job of breaking up the lines of a rifle but its just not my cup of tea.

As far as the Larue mount goes...definitely. But I need many more magazines before I can even think about that.

Very nice firearm my friend!

Here is my only advice to you; If you do SBR it I would avoid the Form 1 and have a local CLIII dealer/manufacturer with a decent named company do it so that it will retain the most possible value. Form 1's make that firearm pennies on the dollar compared to a real manufacturer ... or best of all the original manufacturer.

You dropped a load of cash and the rifle came in a card board box? I guess FN is trying to keep costs down?

Nice set up. Us po' folks just have to stick with the AR's and Mini's

I am exactly the same. I can't stand Flat Dark Earth or Olive Drab finishes, or camo patterns, for that matter. I think they're hideous. I like my firearms to be black, grey, silver, or some combination of the three.

That rifle is simply gorgeous. I'm quite jealous.

What is the make of the SCAR's AR-platform companion?
