I’m putting together a nice midrange rig, compromised of a Henry Repeating Arms Single shot .308, and a Vortex Diamondback 4-12 BDC optic.

While this rig won’t be on the level of a Ruger #1 with Swarovski glass, it’s towards the top of my budget, at least for today. I suppose you could call this a very nice mid range rig.

That being the case, I’d like to dress her up with a little mid range stitched leather sling and cheek riser. On that stuff, I haven’t a clue.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

How about this from Milt Sparks? They make these things for shotgun and rifle/handgun cartridges. It’s called the Cold Comfort and about $150 a pop. You won’t find it listed on their website but if you were to call and ask for a Cold Comfort, they’d know what you want.

El Paso Saddlery. They can hook you up.
I shoot a #1 in 300 win mag. Your rifle is only as good as you are.
I know guys with very expensive rifles that couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn.some of them shoot automatics!
Your rifle isn’t “ mid range”. It’s yours. There are others like it, but that one is yours. I would hunt with you anytime. You have the confidence of a single round.
Just don’t take to long to shoot or you’ll hear my 300!!!

While they aren’t fancy, I’ve always utilized the old M1907 USGI-type leather slings on my hunting rigs.

Take a look a Triple K holsters. Just made a recent purchase from them for my shotgun. They have some nice stuff and their prices are
    resonable
