A pic of a sexy flightdeck of course! ...............two actually

This was taken a year or so ago in the Med on my last job doing civilian re-supply for the Navy. We are about to stash the other Puma on my home ship after a major VERTREP.

Boy, those tomcat's fit together like puzzle pieces.

Must have been playing naked twister in the hanager bay when that photo was taken.

oops..........too big for my dial-up it seems. I'll shrink it a bit but some of the effect is lost. If any of y'all want the full sized version in an email let me know.

Normally I hate the PhotoShop police but, that is a totally bad PhotoShop. Three photos seem to have been combined on that one.

Note the shadow of the stadium on the crowd, placing the sun low and to the left.

The shadow from the vert-stab of the the three F-16 place the sun to the right.

And the glare from the sun on the helmit places the sun almost directly overhead (slightly to the left).

Plus, overall the photo just looks "off".

That would be an awsome shot if it was set up and really done!

I didn't QA the pic before I submitted it, but, after considering your observations, I think you are correct.

I did notice one irregularity, which, now that the photo is likely bogus, I'll bring up. If -3 in the missing man pulled up from the left wing of the lead, he would not have accelerated in front of the formation. His downrange travel would have been slowed and we would likely not have seen his wingmen in the picture.

It was looking really pretty till the rest of the picture loaded and I saw those tomcats getting the fantail all oiled up. Ever wonder why they always park them at the back;a

Something doesn't look right. Where are the F-4s? The A-6s, RA-5C, the A-7?
