I was in support of the protest over the death of George Floyd but as I watched what's been happening I now feel a very strong opposition to the protests.

I watched this video and he explains precisely how I've been feeling about this,

Protests? I don’t see protests. I see riots, terrorism.... assaults, murders.....
I realize there are still real protests. But they don’t make the news.

The US Constitution recognizes the right for peaceable assembly and protects that God given right.

Riots are not protests and need to be put down with the force of law.

Yeah, there have been a few actual protests in the city near me. Zero violence.

I didn't know we were ever supporting the protests. I though we were just agreeing that they were, when peaceful, a constitutional right. The pretend subject of the protests has always been absurd.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Hate is tolerance. Riots are protests.

Protesting is dumb, the guys already been arrested. The trial may last a long time, so what are they just going to keep rioting until they come to a conclusion of the trial? This is a communist revolution, make no mistake. This has never been about Floyd.

Only if you want to go back to work, not if you just want to riot.

The "protests" started before an investigaion or arrest was even made. It shows that these are ochestrated demonstrations just waiting for an excuse to cause chaos.
Anyone truly protesting for "justice" before the accused has been afforded due process is part of a lynch mob.

I think that this is a "perfect storm" and doesn't really reflect anything on people one way or another.

We have people out protesting a legitimate grievance - there's no getting around the fact that Floyd's death was wrong on a number of fronts. Then, you have a population that been pent up at home due to the virus. They also don't have to go to work so they don't really have anything else to do. Emotionally, a lot of people are on edge.

AND, everyone already has a mask to wear.

We would like to think of people as some kind of rational creature but it ain't so......

I never have supported protesting- it's gay and doesn't accomplish anything. Only when it gets violent does it force any change, then it isn't anything but warfare!
I can't support such as that.

I've been thinking the same thing. Ten or eleven days without going to your job?

    Globalism is slavery.

    Nationalism is sovereignty.

    Sovereignty is freedom.

Freedom is the natural state of man.

All bound by slavery produces struggle.

    Struggle produces change.

Support change that leads to freedom.

    Always stand against slavery.

Systematic slavery only changes when it is addressed and rectified.

    Be on the winning team.

    When do the protests stop?
    After LEO's trial?
If verdict is not to the satisfaction of the protesters?

Seemingly it is all about power and we see how well they execute it when they get it in all the
    dem cities.

Except for vagaries, WTF do they want?
    I have not heard yet.
    Equality of opportunity or outcome?
    Wealth redistribution?
Quality education for which at every opportunity they have for it ,the dems and the Teacher;'s Unions dominate their schools, and nothing improves. Really expect a job for 150 K/year with a sixth grade reading level? It is all a political power game.
If you give in to tyranny you only get more of it.
If it is money, give them a one time pay out, and then STFU.
    I give up.

I never supported these riots called a protest and I didn't have to watch a video to know this.
