I bought a carbon steel pan. It's awesome for eggs. I have good cast iron too.

Won't do non stick teflon chemical pans.

I just bought a couple calphalon non stick frying pans there . I like them so far and they are heavy and very non stick . I don't even need to put in any oil to fry an egg .

I’ve got one of those granite pans I’ll give ya. Got a scratch in it though. I guess I should’ve used the hammer and rocks they advertise instead of a spatula. Got a couple of those green pieces of sh!t, too.

I use my pan for everything and the new nonstick surfaces seem to start sticking in about six months or so. Got a George Foreman with nonstick plates in it and they stick too. They made it two years of every day cooking though. There’s a calphalon laying in the scrap pile.

    Rant off.

If Teflon was bad for you they wouldn't make bullets out of it.

That’s not a bad looking pan. I am due to replace one of mine and have been looking around. The non-stick coatings sure have changed lately; I’ll soon find out if it’s a good change or a bad one.

I like the Wear-Ever industrial stuff when I need non-stick. I've had 10" one for ~8 years and the finish is just starting to go. I use cast iron more often though so it only gets used maybe once a month. Looks like they're around $35 now... Pretty sure I bought the last one for $20 at a restaurant supply place.
