My old one (T-Fal) was warped and the non-stick coating was scratched off.

Saw this one in Walmart for $36. The company is called "Forged In Fire". Never heard of them before. Really heavy duty stainless steel and the coating is scratch proof. I just used it for the first time to cook breakfast.

Once in a while I cook a couple of pasture-raised eggs over easy, 5 strips of nuked Kirkland pre-cooked bacon, and two lightly toasted, un-buttered slices of sourdough bread. I always specify my toast when we eat at Cracker Barrels... love their bacon and sausage with 3 eggs meal. I love dipping the toast in the egg yolk. :) I don't get the extra stuff... fixings with biscuits, gravy, and grits, though.

Bacon & egg sandwich on toast is my standard breakfast after my morning run and before I go to the gym. When I have time (like when Mommy and Daddy are here) I make ham, grits, and red eye gravy too.

is that the "diamond" something finish? i saw that advertised and was wondering if it's any good. most of the time i use cast-iron, but clean up time can be extended. not looking to get out of the iron age, but i really don't like the teflons i do have...

I wonder if the name is a marketing gimmick to tie into the History Channel show 'Forged in Fire.'

Huevos Ranchero Chorizo, a Western favorite. A Black Iron Skillet still works.:flag:

IMHO, this is the best NS pan. Swiss Diamond, a little more $ but made in Switzerland and no rivets. I can only guess where your Forged in Fire is made. :D

Red Eye is ham drippings and black coffee cooked down. It would compare to a consume. It is great on Grits. "Bottom Sop" and biscuits is very tasty.:exercise:
