I just rented a 19 and 26 at my range last weekend after pretty much deciding to go Glock and man I just loved that 19. Not so much the 26 but man that 19 shot so nice.

I will probably rent an XD before buying the 19 but I can't imagine liking it more than the Glock 19 Gen 4.

I have a Glock 26, it is my first handgun. I have never shot the 19 but, I was with a buddy at the range who is in search of his CCW. One of the guns we rented was the XD9 I really liked it. Even a little more than my 26. But, I am keeping the 26.

I need to shoot the 19. I am gonna be getting a 17 in about a month probably. I didn't consider the 19 because of its likeness to the 26 size wise and such.

Just wanted to add; I knew I wanted it because of the reputation and reliability but I was genuinely surprised at how much I just actually LIKED it and WANT it...

I bought my wife a G26 and figured I wanted to go from .40S&W to 9mm so I bought a G19 gen 4 for myself (G19 mags would work in G26 frame) The catch was i wasn't a Glock lover( I felt it had a weird angle and was too thick ) Spent some time shooting it to break it in. I fell in love with it. For my last birthday/Fathers Day wife got me a G17 gen 4. I have been carrying that as my main EDC since. Yes, Glocks are addictive ! Only thing I suggest changing are the Sights, Get some good Night or Fiber optic sights.

    I have a G19 gen4, G27 gen4 and a wolf barrel to Change the G27 over to a G26, I agree the G19 is the best shooting gun I own.
