I made an impulse buy! I was at Publix, minding my own business and getting a few things... suddenly I had a craving for chocolate milk! I bought a half-gallon and damned if I didn't drink the entire thing inside of two days!! (good thing I got the low fat kind)

My son can (and has been known to) kill an Entire Gallon of chocolate milk in less than 2 days, easily!

I buy chocolate milk every once in a while for the kids. When I do, I have to buy 2 gallons at a time. The 5 of them can knock off both gallons in less than a week and the oldest is only 10!

It's so yummy and creamy - there is absolutely no shame in it! It's good for you!

    Have one on me!;c

why does store bought chocolate milk ALWAYS taste better than if you make it yourself with quik or some other stuff? ?

I've often wondered the same thing -- especially since the store-bought kind is usually made with skim milk, which, under any other circumstances, I would NEVER EVER buy!

    TWO days?

I would have had to buy two gallons b/c one would be gone before I was out of the parking lot. :)

    funny chocolate milk story...

In elemetary school we would have 'Chocolate Milk Day', which would only come around once or twice a month. Back then it sure felt like a long time in between. So needless to say, those days were special. On one such occasion I cracked open my carton and took four quick gulps...

before realizing that it had gone sour!

It was a while before I could drink chocolate milk again. :)

crochetmama, those five (almost six) kids have you brainwashed!! At 170 calories per serving, and a bunch o' sugar, chocolate milk is most definitely NOT good for me.

But it surely is DEEEEELISH!! ;f

Why all the guilt over chocolate milk? Those brown cows need to stay busy.

I hope you will fit into your Lady Liberty costume today.

If I do not make it up to River Bend, I will try to be at the Decatur post office to see you and the Libertarians make a statement, with my new Canon G5, looking like an photojournalist. Should be a perfect day, clear with temp about 70F.

    See you on TV tonight.

    :)
