Classic male pattern baldness. Getting very close to a comb over which is bad.

I have a few options. Pick one for me GT

Buy clippers and shave it off, that's what my dad does.

Save money on haircuts and shampoo too.

I don’t know, my BIL has used growth product (prescription kind) and it seems to have stemmed the tide for him, he used it for a long time.

Buzz or shave. Those are really the only options.

Shave or buzz cut, whichever suits you best. If you've gotten to the point you're posting on the internet about it, it's time. I have a deal with my wife, she is to tell me when. So far, I'm mostly gray but have the yarmulke pattern bald patch in the back. From the front, still looks full. My day will come though.

You have just won the lottery! Get yourself a cordless clipper, and every 1 or 2 weeks clip to 1/4". The money you will save yourself in time, haircuts, and shampoo will allow you to buy a new Glock every 2 to 3 years.

    I second the hat!

If you don't shave it (might be a cool look), keep it real short.

If you have the funds, get evaluated for hair transplant.

If you go the Rogain route, keep in mind that you need to use that stuff for the rest of your life, if you want to keep whatever grows in.

    Not for me.

I do mine once a week without a guard on the clippers. Been this way for almost 20 years.

I’m not there yet, but I likely will be at some point and when it’s time, I’ll probably just break out the clippers.

I went the buzz-cut route using clippers. There came a day when I removed my MC helmet and looked in a restroom mirror, to see sweat soaked and thinned clumpy strands. Sometimes I buzz it using the closest setting without a clipper comb, and sometimes I use the 1/8" comb.

I think back on all the years I had long collar or shoulder length wavy hair, and all the hours and money I wasted using Hot Combs (and other blow dryers) to dry/style my flowing locks, and wonder what the hell I was thinking. :animlol:

The vanity of youth, no doubt.

I've known guys who went the toupee, doll hair or transplant/drug route. Too much money to waste, in my opinion. Even the "hair polish" (coloring) route to hide grey seems like a waste of time that could be best spent on other things, at least to me.

    Up to you, though.

I spent so much time in the Corps with hair either shaved to the skin or no more than a 1/4 inch that I'm not bothered by the idea of balding, personally. I know it probably sucks for most people.
My vote is to just use clippers. Using hair growth stuff is kinda like getting a face lift. You can still usually tell in a bad way...

I also vote a hat. Mostly to keep the sun off my noggin. My hair started thinning thirteen or so years ago. Now I'm looking like Mr. Spacely from the Jetson's. tom.

Get the tactical beard thing going on, and start operating. No need for silly toy hair, you want serious defensive hair.
