    https://www.clickorlando.com/news/f...ldozer-mowed-down-joe-biden-signs-police-say/

" A 26-year-old man has been accused of stealing a bulldozer from a Florida construction site, driving it into a neighborhood and knocking down campaign signs for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, according to authorities and homeowners.

The man took the bulldozer in Haines City on Saturday and repeatedly destroyed Biden signs in full view of people who live in the neighborhood, witnesses said. James Blight was charged with grand theft auto and trespassing, according to the Haines City Police Department. "

I will sure be glad when this election cycle is over.

I find this funny, only because he is trashing biden signs in a dramatic fashion with panache.

If he simply burned down a strip mall and stole Nikes, he would not be charged.

Well, there was some booze involved so he's probably not going to be able to offer any insight on how to do it.

" Police said Blight claimed he was too drunk at the time to remember what happened. It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney who could comment on his behalf. "

    Hahaha,
    Years ago ..... never mind.......
One time in Peoria Il. After spending the day with Caterpillar they told me the story of removing the engines from their D9 (Large Bulldozer) outdoor displays, explaining that if one was stolen / started by a bad guy there would be no stopping it. They we’re specifically concerned it would take out the levi walls.
Fun fact: the gas pedal is opposite to a car........ you keep you foot on the throttle to keep it going slow.....

    Well how old? How big?
The first i was on you had to start a Pony Engine first. Then use that to start main engine. In the pre 80s It was easy to start with a screwdriver. You shut off fuel to stop.
The latest ones? I don’t know. But I doubt too hard.

I only see a wired yard sign in the pic. Dramatic overkill. Could be mowed down by a freakin bicyclist. Unless there are solid billboards why bother stealing heavy equipment?
