I sometimes am a slow learner but I finally got it correct.

I have been having this problem that there are two trains within 8 minutes of each other on thsae me track. The last 7 times, I have gotten on the wrong train. I am always paranoid about missing trains and so I jump on the first one. The one that leaves at :13 after the hour is the wrong one. I need the the ones that leaves at :21 after.

I have gotten it wrong the last 7 times. Today. Guess what. I managed to get on the right train the first time and am actually going to the right place (I hope).

I have determined that slow learners can get it afterall.

This is a very complex case, not at all what it first appears. I've seen this happen before, let me retrieve some files and I'll be back later to explain...

If I end up at the airport in 20 minutes...I will know I got it right.

If there is no airport, well, I didn't learn so well....

The train stopped at the airport. I guess I do learn.

Simple. Just put a little red sticker in an inconspicuous place on the front of the correct train so you'll know which one to take. Doesn't even have to be red, in fact.

Yes. If a train is 2 minutes late...well....bad bad things happen.

What was even more comical is that on the train they moved the order of the train cars (they post where the 1st and 2nd class cars will be). An announcement was made that the 1st class was moved to the Sectors D and E instead of A and B (other end of the train).

The lady sitting behind me was arguing with the conductor that the 2nd class ticket was good in 1st class because the train was incorrectly configured and she got on in the normal 2nd class sector. Conductor agreed that it was their fault for not having the correct order and let her stay in 1st.

No tolerance for things not being correct.

A few of them. There are also clocks above every rail platform.

I am failing to see how that helps me. It didn't help so much.

I thought it was Moussolini's Italy where trains ran on time? :dunno:
