This makes me so effing mad I can't see straight! Just because I don't agree with your liberal views about gun laws or anything else for that matter, it doesn't make me a racist. All the people throwing that around, calling people racist because you don't agree with their views are the biggest racist in this country in my opinion. Just stop it with the racist bullcrap and give me a real argument on why or why not. The race card bullcrap has to stop!!!!

That guy's a complete idiot. Why does he think it's appropriate to bring Sarah Palin into his argument? She has zero to do with Chitcago.

Gun control itself is "racist," with many laws created to keep guns out of the hands of minorities.

Yes, but it's the dem who wants gunless minority. What does that mean to you?

Minority voter population is the one most likely reduced if guns are easy to get! They don't want to reduce their voting base.

To me this is just another gutless politician pandering to his audience. If people who hear this message can't figure it out they deserve what they get. What I heard him say is he is unable to do anything about gangs and drugs so lets deal with the gun part of his equation. In time people will see that it's flawed thinking. It will fail and so will he.

The race card was nothing more than pandering.

They play the race card because it usually works . So many people are terrified of being labelled as a racist .

I used to be surprised by liberals' willful ignorance, or outright denial, of this fact.

    But not so much anymore.

Liberals use that as a means to control the conversation. They drop that and then the usual response is backpedaling on the other person's part to deny the accusation.

Better to just go "fine, I'm a racist, that all you got?" and keep them on the defensive. They only use that when they're all out of substantive ideas.

My "minority group" ? No. My group is the majority, at least for the time being. And I didn't vote for the "change we can count on". I'm sorry that "change" is the only thing you find in your pocket now, but it seems consistent with mental capacity north of the waist band.

PS. "there slavery policy" should be spelled "THEIR slavery policy"

People have been saying stupid stuff since the first words were uttered, and will be until the last words are. Don't let it get to you. :)

The leftists (I refuse to call them liberal since they hate individual liberty for anybody but themselves) are not ignorant. They know exactly what they are doing. They want the citizens of this country unarmed so that they can turn us into serfs and peasants for "our own good and the good of society". Call them on it. Ask them what they want to do to us that makes them so afraid for us to be armed.
