I agree with most of the guys here--Twilight left much to be desired!

I made the error of setting up my VCR to tape Twilight this past weekend since I had not seen it. I read the book some time ago and found it to be somewhat boring. It seemed to me like there wasn't enough action to keep me interested and usually I'm a pretty quick reader.

New Moon drug on and on and on...I'm attempting to read Breaking Dawn and I just can't get through it. Ugh. It's so boring I want to cry!

I gotta agree with Stephen King that her writing leaves a lot to be desired. The movie I taped was also painfully boring. ZZZzzzzzz...

The men here called it correct. Not even two good looking guys can save this movie.

It was a typical movie filled with teenager angst. As I'm no longer a teen, it didn't appeal to me. I watched it once. I don't know that I would watch it again. If I'm going to watch a flick about werewolves and vampires, I'll pop in Underworld.

I thought the books were ok but I like Charlaine Harris True Blood series of books better. And as far as movies I like when the vampires are much more monstrous than Twilight.

I've never watched the movies or read the books. And I really can't say I want too.

True Blood is a pretty good show, I dunno about the books but I heard they are different.

And I love that picture of Blade behind the Twilight people.

I have testicles, therefore, I am exempt from seeing any of these movies.

I thought the movie (and the book) was written for an audience of teenage girls.

Eric and Bill agree...*real* vampires don't sparkle!

I watched about 20 minutes of it the other day...was bored. The acting was so painfully stilted that it brought tears to my eyes. Tears of rage that this movie is actually making money.

I don't care about crappy plot or crummy special effects; it has to be entertaining and have decent acting.

Compared to True Blood, Twilight isn't much. At least all the books in the TB series kept me interested and were fast reads. Now that TB is on HBO, Alan Ball is really throwing some curves to those of us who read the books. Frankly, IMO the series is more interesting than the books are as he does a fine job of tying loose ends together that Charlaine Harris didn't (and he didn't kill Lafayette).

If I'd paid to see this movie in a theater, I'd be pissed. I guess it's good for a nap.

Kristen Stewart is strange but she's hot and needs to appear nude in the next one. Then I'll see it. That is all.

Try reading "Monster Hunter International" by Larry Corriea. I enjoyed it immensely; think you will too.

If it stays true to the book don't waste your money until the 4th film comes out. And even then, it's probably a stretch.
