So, lately I’m kind of bored with what pistols I have. I’ve been through a handful of polymers and just can warm up to them, other than my Ruger MK IV Lite. They’re great tools, but other than that they kind of bore me. I really enjoy my 1911s, not just because they’re steel, but also because of their history and unique actions. I’m thinking of getting rid of some polymers and want to know what I should look at; requirements being non-polymer, fun to own and shoot, and I wouldn’t argue with some history. The obvious choice seems like the Beretta 92. A 92x definitely has me intrigued. What would you recommend?
