This is what I have done to most of my cans
Thanks to all..At least now I know it’s not just me struggling with those damn things... A man still has his pride to think of...I’ve already begun keeping my eyes peeled for any plain old ones.. Driving a local transit bus has me all over the place.. Think I found one already... I’ll check into all the suggestions...Oh believe me, I will... Pretty much all of the new regular ones at Lowe’s etc, are pure evil, but I see that if I “up the ante”, the simple ones are still available...Simply switching nozzles definitely sounds great... Thanks again... I don’t want to be a “helpless old man”...lol...
I was given a 5 gallon and 2.5 gallon - old school design - by my dad when I bought my house. I will be buried with them. One for regular fuel, another for premix....
LcG, You are a lucky man and I’m extremely envious of you and your gas cans..lol..
I ***** about the screwed up gas cans to anyone who will listen. Just try to use the ones you have to push into something on something small like a weedeater or chainsaw...
Rural King has 5 gallon race style "fluid containers" for $20.
A lot of places have the EZ-Flow replacement spouts for $8.
Now, I do have a 2 gallon can with this style spout, and it works fine... after you cut two safeties off of it.
I think they actually pay to have a channel. I can’t confirm that, but that’s my conclusion considering some larger channels have content that others get shut down over.
Hard to believe, but yes I really am...I had three old (10-20 years) simple ones, but the threads on the spouts and the cans were virtually gone...I pitched them not knowing what I was getting into with these new ones... It’s hard to pay attention to all the stuff that is changing...
Hey, thanks for the helpful suggestions... Next time I post a question I’ll really be looking forward to your reply...
I keep an eye on local on-line auctions for blitz brand gas cans. They are the best I've ever found. No leak when transporting or pouring. The little yellow cap used to be hard to find. But they are now on sale on the web. I must have six or so 5-6 gallon cans. three - 2.5 gallon cans. And probably three - 1 gallon cans.
Somebody started happy hour a little early tonight. By himself no doubt!
Not sure what your point is. By your statement Prager should have more videos allowed not less, considering all the views they get. Don't know if he's paying for a channel or not, but that shouldn't make a difference imo.
I have 6 of the 5 gallon Sunoco ventless race jugs. They are like magic compared to modern government wrecked cans.
Just buy an aftermarket old school spout...they're widely available.
Use Echo premixed gas for my echo lawn equipment .I buy the almost a gallon metal can and reuse it for regular gas.
I refuse to believe that “happy hour” can start too early..lol.. but it’s objective is to make one happy...not always the case...thanks paynter2...
