just killing time and hitting local pawn shops and I spot a nice G-17 gen 2. Not really shopping for one, but stickered at $299, I just couldn’t pass it up. Serial looks to put it at 1994. Came as is. Very clean and has adjustable rear sights. Not a bad buy in my opinion.

I agree and gen 1s something about them that makes u smile when u see the character Mark's on them that a used gen 3 or 4 and maybe 5 doesnt do. And I'm not a glock guy persay I just respect them as they as the corollas of the gun world

Very nice. I didn’t get into Gen2 until I was gifted a Gen2 19C. Opened the flood gates....

Neither am I, but once I read the history of Glock, it made me want one. Not a fan of rails, so the gen 2 got my attention.

Btw the uncaptured recoil spring alone is worth about $100-$125 to a collector trying to get their older Gen back to original condition.

The Gen2 (especially the 17) was the building block of their “perfection.” Congrats on your new Gen2

Isn’t going to lock back w/o a magazine. But if it won’t lock back even with a mag in it, I’d pass at any price.
