Hypoallergenic cats?

    check out the Devon Rex cats- my buddy sneezes at the word "cat," and he does ok with that breed.

    There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic cat or dog. It's a myth. I'm not allergic, but I was curious about the situation, when Obama took the WH, and the news made a huge deal about him finding a dog for his daughter. Cause one of his kids is allergic to dogs. There are certain breeds of dogs and cats that shed less and may give off less allergens, but there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog or cat. Period. Again, some breeds may be better for people w/ allergies, but a truly hypoallergenic cat/dog, that doesn't give off any (ie zero) doesn't exist.
