Hyper velocity in Marlin 795

Hello,

I just bought a Marlin 795 yesterday and got a pack of the CCI Velocitors to go with it. Just realized that the 795 is not rated to use hyper velocity ammo, like the Velocitor. Has anyone used any hyper velocity rounds without issues in their 795 or should I really avoid shooting it? What is the concern with the rifle if hyper velo ammo is used?

It has a plastic bolt buffer which could crack.

Buy some spare buffers and replace as needed. You might even be able to find a better quality buffer from a 3rd part source.
