My info may be outdated, and is heavily influenced by
the experiences of others, but here goes:

The Metrillo brothers; Noli, Mar, Mio, Pabling run Metrillo Gunsmithing,
in Merville, Paranaque (pasok from service road,, turn left before
Jollibee, look for the faux grotto at left, IIRC). Good workmanship,
but fairly expensive. Impression ko is the waiting periods depend
a great deal on client favoritism, which I find kinda unprofessional.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong. Others here can clarify.

Juan Bayang runs Ordnance Services recently relocated to Pasay City,
right behind the Atrium Hotel. His own personal reputation for quality
is very good, though these days, I think he just has a number of
lesser smiths working under his direction. Sometimes-long waiting
periods coupled with a somewhat steep price. I almost went to them
for a frankengun I was assembling but distance was a real problem.
Still is. Other BoG dwellers can tell you more.

There's also Jun Tuason in Barrio Kapitolyo, Pasig.
Very reasonable prices --he'll fit a Schuemann barrel for a
little over 1.3K if the frame isn't too far off-spec-- and no BS.
Very professional siya, and my impression is he's a true believer.

There certainly are other gunsmiths, but these are independents.
(that is, they are unattached to a particular gunstore, although
there's apparently close affinity between Col. Bayang and Trust Trade)
Dunno where the heck si Churchill is these days...
    still with P.B.Dionisio?

I'm a bit hesitant to post this, kasi two other gunsmiths were
raided by the PNP in the past 3 weeks, but I think these guys are
established enough that the cops will know they're on the up and up.
From the Filipino Firearms Directory database:

    Metrillo Gunsmithing
    Merville, Bicutan,
    Paranaque
    8245637

    Ordnance Services
    Antonio Luna St.,
    Pasay City

    8325399

    Jun Tuason
    San Pablo St., Barrio Kapitolyo,
    Pasig

Shop around by phone and listen to your gut, then shop some more.
Not a lot of love in my book for Art Lantin, Tony Pascual
and the oh-so-accomodating and friendly folks at True Weight.

EDIT: I'm not entirely sure about Bayang's second phone number anymore.

Haven't encountered any problems with Mang Delfin. He's the only gunsmith at First Option so you are pretty sure that he will be the one working on your firearm. The prices are a bit high but still cheaper than Metrillo. :)

    Kapatid, "horge" lamang. :)
Just scan last week's issues of Manila Times for the item.
Can't remember what date kasi, especially for the raid prior.

These raids (the earliest ones were back in January 2006, IIRC)
are the real reason hindi ko in-upload yung Gunsmith Directory pages.
Matagal na nga'ng ready, but I don't want to get anyone in
trouble --baka mamaya the smiths I've listed ay wala palang mga
papeles. Kawawa naman sila, di ba?

thank you horge, thats very informative.
I live near herran where lantin is, not to much love for him here either.
paltiq 45, one of the reasons gunsmiths get raided is when they work on guns with out papers, apart from them themselves not having papers.
