Still not an iPhone
In name only, look at it.
It's not running iOS so I pass. I have owned two Android phones and keep going back to iPhone. I'm sure it's due to the fact I've used Apple products since the late 80's to present. To deep into the Apple ecosystem.
Not into modding out the OS. I just need it to work. Simplicity.
Yeah, and if Hyundai builds a car that looks like a Ferrari, it's the same too...
It's an unlocked midrange phone available at an attractive price.

Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone 6, my new iPhone 6s Plus comes to tomorrow from a FedEx drop off. Just that HTC is a iPhone knock off. Tech website TechnoBuffalo is not a friend of iPhones or Apple. Yet they everything to say something bad about the HTC.
It's getting great reviews from all the tech guys but HTC had the antenna bands on their other phones M7, M8 and M9 way before Apple put their's on the iPhone 6. Honestly the front has a Galaxy look with the new home button. Looks like they're shooting for a winner just like Samsung.
I disagree as I follow Technobuffalo and they have staff that loves their iPhones but like anyone else they also like change. No different than owning several different brands of guns.
From the article:
In the US, the One A9 will sell directly from HTC's website for $399, making it an affordable handset -- certainly more affordable than the iPhone 6S, which starts at $649. The UK often pays a little over the odds for electronics, thanks to tax, but HTC has taken that to extremes with the A9. While its US price converts to £260, the A9 actually sells in the UK for £430. That's not affordable at all.
HTC has yet to announce pricing for Australia, so we'll have to wait and see whether the phone is good value Down Under. For reference, $399 converts to around AU$550, while £430 is about AU$915. The One A9 goes on sale globally in early November.
Who names an OS Marshmallow? lame
Why, does it harsh your mellow?
The fluffy fellows at Google?
It's racist since marshmallows are white. Why do the whites get to control what the phone does? Don't they control enough already?
Leave the marshmallow over the fire a bit longer, it darkens.
I know this is slightly off topic but it is hilarious. Well, to me it is.
