Howdy y’all!

I’ve been a gun guy for few years, though I prefer long guns to pistols usually. The first pistol I purchased was a XD in 45GAP right after boot camp in ‘05. I had previously fired a friend’s Gen 2 G19 but went with the XD as I liked the ergonomics better back then.

Fast forward to earlier this year I bought a Gen 4 G 19 in Battlefield Green. Since then I’ve bought a BFG G43 frame, a LEO turn in G22 and have a Dark Earth G43 enroute.

As I have many questions and seek to learn more about my toys, I figured y’all were the guys to seek out.

About me, I currently reside in the Bryan/College Station area of Texas. I have 12 years total time in service as a Marine KC-130 Loadmaster/Crewmaster. Nine years active and three years reserves, 04-16. If there is anyone in the Brazos Valley that would like to get together for a range day, let me know.

I need to head your direction soon for some trees. Anywhere I can buy some small pines from over there? I’d like to have a couple of lost pines on my property.

You can actually pickup Loblolly pines at our local HEB.

There is also a tree farm south of Austin. If I can find their info, I will pm it to you.

Also, since you are in the Bryan College Station area, have you checked with A&M. I would be very surprised if they could not help you with finding some young pines locally.
