That's a name I have not heard since maybe the early 1990's. I cannot picture him on the air in today's environment. He was sleazier than Howard from what I remember.

Stern was syndicated on an Indianapolis Radio station probably 2 decades ago. In his promo commercials he stated he would wipe the floor with the the jocks who he claimed stole his act, Bob and Tom. B&T are Indiana radio legends.
Within a year of so Stern's radio show was cancelled.
He could be amusing at times, but his constant put downs of people got tired and stale real fast.

Never listened to one of his shows and had no access to one.

I tuned into his show one time. He was talking about how he pooed in his bed while he was pleasuring himself.
It just seemed to me that anybody listening to him had a really strong need to feel like they were leading the zeitgeist. But, honestly folks, this is not the zeitgeist. This is being a lemming.

I remember Stern’s show following Soupy Sales on NY AM radio in the early 80s. I think Sales came on after Imus In The Morning.

Yeah right, forgot about that. He was referring to Rutgers University women’s basketball team IIRC.

Yeah he had to do the apology circuit, with bows before Big Al and JJ.

One of the funniest interview I ever heard was when Howard Stern had Ozzy Osborne on and Ozzy talked about going to rehab.

As a teen I used to watch his channel 8 tv show out of New York. Some of the most juvenile humor ever, but damn it was funny. Listened to him off and on over the years until he went satellite.

Howard Stern is a reprobate. I've been saying for years that he is an embarrassment to the US. A real testament to the degradation of the American fabric.
