Okay, that's just what I'm calling it for the sake of this thread. A friend of mine bought an xdm compact the other day and it got me thinking. What if there was a Glock with similar attributes? I'd say a 26 grip with the slide and dust cover/rail of a 19. And Glock factory mag sleeves for for ultimate fit and feel. I, for one, would love one. Seems like a great idea to me. What do you guys think? I know, "behind production, don't want to develop new guns when they can't provide current models" and all. Just a thought. Or maybe we should just wish for a single-stack, .22 carbine. Lol.

    Mine works GREAT!

    Did it myself...

I would buy one if it's the same price... otherwise I'll just keep chopping my own....

Great Concealed Carry Pistols those G19/G26 pistols...

This guy shows a very primitive method. There are actual gunsmiths that do this though.

Just search the forum for the words "Glock Chop or Grip chop". Tons of threads on the subject. Spare new frames are available in the classifieds all the time, there is a guy in TX selling some now for less than $200 for the 9mm/.40 size and $225 or so for the larger frames.
