    Hey guys.

I run Win7 Ultimate on an old Dell P4, runs pretty well.

Just ran disk cleanup (something I do periodically, of course) and found I have exactly 10.0GB of Temp files.

How the HECK would that happen???? :dunno:

My first guess would be lots of software installs after you initially setup Win7 (like winzip, winamp, winrar, drivers, product software, ect.) and you never cleaned it up.

Of course "temp files" is a little vague.

I agree with HKUSP45Css there are always a lot of temp files after software installations, if this isn't the case we my be able to help if you tell us the types of temp files.

What really fills my temp files are downloads and streaming media. I don't know if it works with Windows 7 but look at a program called purera (pure ra). It's very small and doesn't install.
