If I am shipping to someones FFL how do I ship it,and what kind of confirmation do I get to know the FFL is legit?
I'm thinking of posting an ad but I want to be sure everything is covered.
    Thanks.

I have some general suggestions for you,

    1. Once you get a copy of the buyer's transfer FFL, you can check on the ATF website to see if it is valid.

    2. You might also want to get a copy of the buyer's ID.

    3. You should also check with the FFL to see if they will receive from a private party(some won't).

    4. If you do ship a firearm yourself, use UPS or FedEx. It will have to be next day(it's UPS/FedEx policy). It is illegal for a non-FFL holder to use the US Postal Service.

You could also do a search on the topic here because the question has been posted before.

    Good luck.
