Hey guys, i've been lerking for a while, just got my first glock and an x400u to go along with it. it doesn't seem to fit unless i take off the little ramp insert that looks like it goes on a picatinny, is this the correct method? thanks in advance.

Pretty sure there's two inserts; one for pic and the other for "universal". Perhaps the wrong one is installed for the Glock.

Switch to the mount with the letter "U" on it. It stands for "universal" which fits the Glock style.

Nah, you'll all good. Sometimes reading the instructions are helpful but we in the forum are also here to help <grin>. Surefire has a great weapon light systems for many firearms. I have them on my shotgun, pistol, and AR-15. Enjoy and be safe.
