I have a multi media sanyo MM-7500 phone through sprint as a provider, I have the walkie talkie feature, but also have friends that have Nextel Phones also with walkie talkie feature. since both phones are serviced by the same Sprint/Nextel company, how to I link up and talk on the walkie talkie feature with a nextel phone? Or is it possible, which would not seem like a good business decision.

    What's your direct connect #?

I doubt it will work, it's two separate networks.

You can't get there from here. Yet.

As a side note, we went from Nextel to Sprint at work, and Ready-Link ~SUCKS~. Sprint is a better PHONE service, but their "walkie-talkie" feature is junk.

yeah, the direct link number on my sprint phone is simply the phone number, but when i ask my nextel friends what their's is, they tell me some jibberish that doesnt sound like a phone number. I have tried to connect to theirs by using the phone number, but it doesn't seem to work that way. hmmmm
