I ran into a little snag in my G-20 Long Slide Project

I didn’t realize that the Bull Nose Profile on the LWD Slide was so prolific. When I decided to do this it was based on having a real heavy hitter that actually looked pretty great. In my research I found B&B Enterprises and this picture

The seamless transition between the slide and the comp is what sold me on the build.

But then I saw an ad where someone was selling a similar set up and the transition look horrible. It was at that point that I realized that my slide was going to look the same way

I have been trying to fix this issue to no avail, so I decided the best way to resolve this is to build the slide to the point that it functions and then try to sell or trade it to someone with an older slide. I'm also looking into a custom slide

I need some input on the following items:

  • Should I have the slide Cerakoted or should I leave it plain
  • Should I leave the Dawsen Fiber Optic Sights off
  • Since I no longer need the comp should I stick with the threaded barrel or should I just use a regular barrel
Let me know what you think.

BTW: I want to make it clear that I in no way hold Bobby Carver responsible for my selection of parts.

Thanks
