So I'm going to be polishing my barrel and I need to know how to make the baking soda mix solution to neutralize the acidic effects from the vinegar soak. What should I mix the baking soda in? How much baking soda should I use? How much of the other ingredient should I use?

Sorry can't help but I believe you may be over thinking this. Give it a good rinse with warm water and a coat of your favorite lube.

i just threw it in some vinegar for an hour or 2 then went polishing away with some Mothers mag and aluminum polish. I have several hundred rounds through my g23 since i did it and have had no malfunctions of any sort. Honestly, i think it performs better now.

You gonna polish it or grill it and eat it?
