    Sleep, that is.

I'm not sure I personally know any adults (especially parents) who get a full 8 hours a night.

We make sure the kids get 8-10, but we usually get around 6.

half the time I run on 4....maybe why I'm grumpy half the time....I point towards bad time management

I'm a college student and I try to get 7-7.5 or I'm to tired. More than that and I'm still to tired to function.

I have to have at least 8 hours M-F or my work suffers for it. I can't be checking stats and make a mistake in proofing and being sleepy on the job is a great way to do that.

I've had people poke fun at me for going to bed so early but I also get up at 4:30 or 4:45 on work days.

I slept 8 hours one night... I had pneumonia.

4-6 hours and I'm wide awake. It's just the way it is.

Now that I'm working out every day, I'm generally ready for bed by 10PM, up @ 6AM. Eight hours has become the norm here and I have three kids <10.

It doesn't matter what time I go to sleep at night (usually midnight) I will wake up in 6 to 6 1/2 hours. My wife needs/gets at least 8 hours during the week and 10 on the weekends ... and she will take a nap both days.

If i'm not doing anything, (between jobs, vacation, etc...) I usually get 12+.

If i'm busy or have things to do on the daily, usually 5-6.

Six hours on work days, about 7-8 on weekends. Up every morning between 4:30-5 for work. I hate it. I am not a 'morning' person.

This morning I went to bed around 2am, got up at 5am. I haven't had a good nights sleep in many, many years. Worked the graveyard shift for most of a decade, but that was a long time ago. It really messed me up. They say you need less sleep as you get older because your body is not under the stress of growing.
I will catch up on my sleep when I'm dead, that's something to look forward to, I guess.

    Regards.

These days I get 6 hours at most, usually split in 2 because one of the kids is moving around. I can manage fine on 6 hours if theres no break.

I take a nap most days, an hours sleep between 2 and 4 pm. We even have a bed in the office and recently set up a camp bed because so many people wanted to use it. Most of us have a sleeping bag, sheet and pillow stashed somewhere.

Power naps - all the cool kids are doing it these days. :)

Depends... average, 7 hours. But sometimes I still will sleep for 4 hours then run 20. Do that for a couple of weeks then it's crash into a 14 hour sleep and back at it again.
